At General Plastics & Rubber Co. we utilize computer-controlled filament winding, resin transfer molding, vacuum impregnation, and hand lay-up to manufacture our material systems.

We have extensive experience with a variety of Composite Materials including resins, E-glass, S-glass, graphite, and Kevlar. We work with many different types of fabric and combinations to achieve the desired performance characteristics for each application. For years, we have been supplying materials for down hole applications that must withstand temperatures up to 500°F, and pressures of 20,000 psi. Now we've expanded our material systems and offer products that can withstand 600°F.

In addition, General Plastics & Rubber Co. regularly manufactures a variety of shapes and configurations including tubulars, solid billets, plates and many specialized laminate configurations. Many must be machined to extremely close tolerances. Our expertise in material selection and design results in cost-effective solutions that meet your specific needs.
