Engineering Services
Our engineers and technicians work jointly with you to develop prototypes, choose the best composite materials and manufacturing methods for construction, and coordinating and conducting in-house testing, assuring an innovative solution for your needs.

It is best to involve our engineers early in the design phase for their expert guidance in using composite material for mechanical applications. Vital recommendations on the front end will prevent time-consuming and costly changes at the end. They are experienced professionals with downhole tool design and composite materials engineering backgrounds, and are an excellent resource on customer projects.

Our commitment to developing new solutions extends to new technology and software utilized by our engineering staff, such as SolidWorks and Nastran Finite Element Analysis Software. NEI is a composites analysis software that allows our engineers to examine the structural, dynamic, and thermal aspects of designs. The insight gained by this analysis allows our engineers to recommend alternate approaches, optimize the designs, improve quality, reduce design cycle time, and save customers time and money on prototypes and first articles.

Our engineering services are a part of the value you receive when choosing to work with General Plastics & Composites, and there are no additional charges for them.
